Who is the Prince of Daniel's Seventy Weeks Prophecy?
Catholics and Protestants today teach that a prince (their "future Antichrist" will come to worldwide power for seven years; and this prince is the one predicted in Daniel 9:26, 27.
But the Bible
strongly indicates that the "prince" of Daniel 9:26,27,
is the same "prince" of the previous verse 25, even Jesus Christ (see
the Revised Standard Version). The "people of the prince who
is to come" who” destroy the city and the sanctuary" were the
Roman legions under Titus in AD 70. Why were these pagan Romans termed
"the people of the prince(Christ) who is to
come"? Because God used them to execute His wrath upon
faithless
Proof: “The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city" (Matthew 22:7).
Note: Jesus the Nazarene made
"a strong covenant with many" by shedding his own blood when he was crucified in the middle of the seventieth week
of years, causing "sacrifice and offering to cease" for those who
believed the good news of the Kingdom of God and were baptized
(immersed)for the forgiveness of their sins (Daniel 9:27, Acts 2:37, 38). There
is no Scriptural justification for the fanciful
"Evangelical" interpretation, which wrenches the last week of
this "seventy weeks of years" prophecy and applies it to the
time of the end, over 1900 years later!
The “Rapture" - the Ultimate Delusion!
Evangelical Christianity today teaches the "Rapture" theory - that all "the saved” will be taken up to heaven at the coming of the Lord.
But the Bible
never mentions the "Rapture". True brethren and sisters of Christ do not
expect to go to heaven. They know that Jesus their Lord will descend from
heaven to rule on David's throne at
Proof: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5).
"He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end"(Luke 1:32,33).
"For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs"(Romans 15:8).
"He who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, I will give him power over the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received power from my Father" (Revelation 2:26, 27).
"And hast made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on earth(Revelation 5: 10).
Note: I Thessalonians 4:16 says, "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven ....he does not return to heaven. There are only two advents, not three (see Hebrews 9:28).
There is no third coming of the Lord seven years later to destroy a "future Antichrist"!
The word "air" in I Thessalonians 4:17 refers to the political firmament (see Daniel 12:3, Matthew 13:43), not to heaven.
When is the
"Judgment Seat of God"?
Evangelical Christianity today teaches that "the judgment seat of God" takes place at the end of the thousand years reign of Christ; which is not for the righteous but is reserved only for the unbeliever - the wicked who have rejected God's grace.
But the Bible plainly says that all the responsible, both faithful and unfaithful shall stand before God's judgment seat at the return of the Lord Jesus. The righteous will be made immortal to inherit the earth and rule with their Lord as kings and priests initially for a thousand years. The wicked will be consigned to "the second death" - the cessation of existence. The “great white throne" judgment occurs at the end of the thousand years reign for the mortal subjects of that millennial kingdom.
Proof: “Why do you pass judgment on your brother'? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God" (Romans 14:10).
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for the things through the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad" (2 Corinthians 5:10).
Note: The false teaching of
the secret "Rapture" and the "future Antichrist" completely
destroys the truth that all of the responsible, obedient and disobedient, shall
appear before the judgment seat ot
God.
When is the
"Beast" Worshiped?
Evangelical Christianity today teaches that the "beast" (their "future Antichrist") will reveal himself as a worldwide dictator after the first resurrection, for a period of seven years.
But the Bible clearly states that the "beast" is established and worshiped throughout the nations before the first resurrection; therefore the "future Antichrist" theory must be a hoax.
Proof: “Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection" (Revelation 20:4,5).
Note: In the Dark Ages during the rise to political power of the Roman Catholic Church, Bible readers perceived the development of the Papacy in the "beast of the sea", the "beast of the earth", the "image of the beast", and in the "horn which spoke great things and prevailed over the saints" (Revelation13 and Daniel 7). The man of sin or lawlessness " who proclaims himself to be a God" was identified as the Pope, "who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship" taking "his seat in the temple of the God" or St. Peter's Basilica ( 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4).
If you are not
aware of these historical facts, here are a few of many references: A.D 1120 -
"... there is also a tract against the Pope of Rome, who is there called
Antichrist' - quoted from the "History of the Waldenses
and Albigenses" (J.P.P. Lionnois).

1379, John Wycliffe, "English ecclesiastical reformer and theologian, the
inspirer of the Lollards and of John Huss,"
wrote that the authority of
In the 14th century, "Matthias of Janow, the forerunner of John Huss, also declared Antichrist to be present within the church, at its very head, In similar terms Huss contrasted Christ with his vicar the Pope, who, when given to the vices of pride, avarice, etc., blasphemously called himself papa. All these ideas became the dynamic force which drove Luther on in his contest with the Papacy" - quoted from the "Encyclopedia Britannica".
"Luther declared that even the most exemplary Popes were Antichrist because the representatives of an institution opposed to Christ. The cartoonists of the Reformation were to take up the theme with avidity and in a series of couplets portrayed Christ born in the squalor of a manger, the Pope elected in a military conclave; Christ so poor that he must find a shekel in a fish, the Pope raking in revenues; Christ walking on foot, the Pope born aloft; Christ driving out money-changers, the Pope reaping indulgences; Christ crowned with thorns, the Pope with a tiara; Christ ascending to heaven, the Pope as Antichrist cast into hell" - quoted from "The Reformation of the Sixteenth Century" (R.H. Bainton).
The Papacy was a human governing body, capable of error and itself to be tested by Scripture. From this latter point, both Tyndale and Luther were to arrive, within a year or two, at the conclusion that the sixteenth century Papacy was nothing less than the Antichrist" - quoted from "God's Outlaw- The Story of William Tyndale" (B.H. Edwards).
In A.D. 1560, Claus Felbinger, an Anabaptist missionary, was imprisoned by the Catholics, and "tortured unmercifully on the rack." The teaching of infant baptism was denounced by Felbinger in the following words, before he was beheaded on July 10th.
"Infant
baptism I regard as simply nothing. It is conceived by men for the sake of
money, that the parsons may by its means enrich themselves . . .Therefore has the Antichrist, The abomination of
desolation, the Pope, placed such emphasis on the accursed infant baptism ...
Baptism is a covenant of a good conscience with God (1 Peter 3:21)...Now what
does a young child know of a 'good conscience with God'? It is merely
trumpery!"
-quoted from
"The Anabaptist Story" (W.R. Estep).
About A.D. 1554, Matthew Gribaldi, a brilliant lawyer, was among the first to declare that the execution of Servetus was an indelible blot on the Reformation...The overwhelming theological conviction of the Apologist (Gribaldi) is that the Protestant divines have concentrated on the 'tail' of the complex theological body of Catholicism, and dealt with such matters as 'the Mass, purgatory, sacraments, penance, satisfaction, fasting, the invocation of saints, images, monastic vows, celibacy, free will. and the predestination,' claiming that all these are entirely or in part corrupted by the Papal Antichrist, but that they have refused to examine the 'head': namely the capital doctrines concerning God, Christ, and the Spirit! Traditional formulations here havebeen taken over by the timid Reformers, unexamined, unchallenged. Yet the doctrine of the Trinity is blasphemous to begin with, a feminine trinity being put in the place of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth. The 'Trinity' is an imaginary construct elaborated introduced by the Greeks, elaborated in papal hallucinations, a chimera of the Scholastics, not tobe found in the Scriptures - Servetus, in fact, was not far off when in his reported conversation he called it a hideous Cerberus ...
Calvin, the Apologist goes on, unscripturally and illegally, contrived Servetus' death under the pretext of defending the Trinity but actually in 'private revenge.' In commiting Servetus to the flames, Calvin confirmed the Catholics in their disposition to use flames on heretics, and the concept of 'heretic’s among them was to be broadly defined! What kind of Christianity is that which proclaims its 'good news with flames/? - quoted from "The Radical Reformation" (G.H. Williams).
Of course Catholic scholars were squirming to evade the finger of prophecy pointing so obviously to the Romish Mother Harlot. A Spanish Jesuit priest, Francisci Ribera, wrote a book (about A.D. 1590) to try and prove that these prophecies apply to a "future Antichrist" rather than the Papacy. A couple of centuries later another Jesuit, Emanuel Lacunza, expanded this futurist system and "Rapture" interpretation. Most tragically, his teaching has been unwittingly accepted by the Protestant daughters of Mother Rome.
When is the "Man of Sin" Revealed?
Catholics and Protestant today
teach that the "man of sin" (their "future Antichrist")
will be revealed
tothe world shortly after the
"coming (Greek= parousia) of the Lord"
(I Thessalonians 4:15).
But the Bible says that the "man of sin" or lawlessness will be revealed before the "coming (Greek = parousia) of the Lord"
Proof: “Now concerning the coming (Greek = parousia) of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, . . . Let no one deceive you in any way, for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians2:1,3).
"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he (the pagan Roman authorities) who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, (2 Thessalonians (2:7,8).
Note: The
"rebellion" or apostasy commenced in the first century (2
Thessalonians2:7, I John 4:1 ). This fact is proof
that the Truth of God's Word was quickly corrupted. Therefore by the time of
Christ's second coming, "all nations" would be deceived, and very few
would be following the "one faith"(Revelation 18:23, Ephesians 4:5,
Luke 18:8)), and rejoicing in the good news of the coming

And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus."

As I looked, this horn made war with the saints, and prevailed over them, until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints received the kingdom" (Daniel 7:20-22).
Note: The
The identifying mark of this Antichrist family is stated to be that men "will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist" (2 John 7 and see I John 4:1-3).
Jesus the Nazarene was not the incarnation of God the Son, nor the transmigration of the archangel Michael in an immaculate or perfect man; but the manifestation of God by His power (the Holy Spirit) in weak, mortal human nature (Hebrews2:10,14, 5:7-9, 13:20).
If you believe
in the pagan doctrine of the Trinity, or in the pre-existence of Jesus as the
archangel Michael (as do the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah’s
Witnesses), or in the pre- existence of Jesus as the God of the Old Testament
(as does the Worldwide Church of God or Ambassador College),you are part of the
Antichrist family which denies that Jesus Christ was a man with the same blood
and flesh, the "flesh of sin" (Romans 8:3, Greek text) common to all
humanity. The real Jesus "condemned sin in the flesh” which is the
Bible devil, Hebrews 2:14, cf. 9:26) as he was "crucified in
weakness" (2 Corinthians 13:4) thus declaring for all time that human
nature is rightly related to death - that God is just in inflicting death upon
mankind (Romans 3:24- 26).
A FINAL WARNING!
The several
preceding points have been directed against the widespread but false "pre tribulation
rapture" and "future Antichrist" theories. Although these ideas
were developed by the Jesuits, Ribera and Lacunza in the 16thand 18th centuries; they were introduced
into the Protestant stream by Edward Irving of the
During this 20th century these theories have been popularized by C. I. Scofield's Bible, and the many Evangelical writers and preachers who have swallowed the Jesuit bait; - such as Billy Graham, Hal Lindsey, Jack Van Impe, John F. Walvoord, Richard DeHaan, Leon Bates, Harry A. Ironside, Thomas McCall,J. Dwight Pentecost, Jack Chick, A.C. Gaebelein, J. Vernon McGee, W.S.McBirnie, Salem Kirban, Hilton Sutton, David Webber and Oliver B. Greene. Also emotion filled "Christian" movies; - for examples 'A Thief In The Night" and "Distant Thunder", have continued the brainwashing process.
However, other
Evangelical teachers prefer a "mid-tribulation rapture" or a
"post tribulation rapture." That is, they imagine that they will be
taken up to heaven in the middle of their "seven years tribulation"
time period or at the end of that era. No doubt many Evangelicals will swing
over to these two later in time theories, when their favorite
"pre-tribulation rapture" does not occur at the return of Jesus
Christ to

"Christians" will reject Jesus the Nazarene when he returns soon in
